„Instead of telling stories with words, I let things whisper.“

My artistic practice is engaged in giving a form and an experience to the very idea
of interrelations. We are constantly in contact with others, other humans, other forms
of life: can art give a form to this dynamic flux of energies and exchanges? Through
installations, video, sculpture and —lately—collaborative painting I have been trying
to express how coexistence looks like, how coexistence happens between matter,
people, animals and people, animals and matter, plants, plants and soil, soil and the
elements of weather… and what comes to mind is in a relationship. Nothing exists apart
from the touch and a relation with others.
My work is therefore about how relations form our ideas of identity. I show an artwork
embodies an open invitation to viewers, to audiences, to think about their own social
interactions. I believe that every object and material tells a story. By using found items,
I look at human behavior and the concept of memory. Memory isn’t just about remembering
the past; it shapes how we perceive ourselves and our present lives. It can change over
time, which makes it an interesting topic to explore. I sometimes use humor or poetry to
address tough subjects, helping to open up conversations and making my work more
relatable.
I also question the aesthetics of materials in our throwaway culture, thinking about how
these elements affect our thoughts and actions. The global challenges we face today show
how fragile our existence is and encourage me to dive deeper into our emotions. I believe
that every wounded individual is compelled to undergo a metamorphosis. My work invites
you to connect with the materials and narratives within, fostering a dialogue about the
challenges we encounter.
Through this mix of ideas, I aim to reflect the complexity of humane experience and inspire
meaningful reflection.
